Raymond Lam is senior writer at Buddhistdoor Global and also plans, writes, and edits its Tea House sub-site. Born in Hong Kong, he studied religion at The University of Queensland and earned an MA in Buddhist Studies at SOAS University of London. He has worked in religion journalism and Buddhistdoor Global’s organization for over a decade. A Buddhist layman since 2008, he is aligned with a non-sectarian vision for Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana Buddhist ecumenism. He is vice-chairman and director of the Hong Kong Society of Dharma Supporters. He is also a consultant for the Atlas of Maritime Buddhism at Hong Kong Baptist University’s Visualization Research Centre.
