Filmmaker and expeditioner Laurence Brahm returns to Asia Society for a screening of his groundbreaking film Searching for the Lotus Born Master: Eight Manifestations of Quantum Energy.Was the founding guru of Tibetan Buddhism versed in quantum physics? The film, part travelogue and part meditation on the marriage of spiritual wisdom and cutting-edge science, boldly explores the quantum manifestations of Padmasambhava, featuring the Shambhala Studio team travelling to Himalayan regions, monasteries, and sacred sites to discover the answer. The evening’s event will feature a pre-screening book signing with Laurence, and a panel dialogue between Laurence and Thomas Polin, retired senior journalist and Buddhist translator.
