Gabriel Durham is an Applied Anthropologist specializing in human adaptation, be that environmental (adaptation to climate change) or psychosocial (adaptation to stress). In an effort to go beyond academic research, his work focuses on application of adaptive techniques and methods to help people transcend the adaptive challenges of our age. He has been studying meditation and martial arts for 20 years to adapt to and heal chronic pain, surgery, PTSD, and depression. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Medical anthropology specializing in human environmental stress.
