Daniel Millet Gil holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, as well as a Master's degree and PhD in Buddhist Studies from the Buddhist Studies Center at the University of Hong Kong. He received the Tung Lin Kok Yuen Award for excellence in Buddhist studies (2018-2019). He is a regular contributor and editor of the web platform Buddhistdoor in Spanish. He is the founding president of the Dharma-Gaia Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching and spreading Buddhism in Spanish-speaking countries. Moreover, he is co-director of the Buddhist Studies Program at the Rovira i Virgili University Foundation (FURV), an initiative of the FDG and FURV. He also is founder and director of Editorial Dharma-Gaia and Editorial Unalome.
