About Mindful Capital


Ernest Ng is chief investment officer at Sumeru Capital. Before founding Sumeru Capital, Ernest was a vice president at Morgan Stanley's Principal Strategies. With over 15 years of experience in corporate finance and asset management, Ernest has maintained an ongoing interest in responsible investing, mindfulness, and sustainability in the market economy. He is a visiting assistant professor at the Centre of Buddhist Studies (CBS) of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and the president of the CBS Alumni Association. 
Ernest graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics and a MA in International Relations and from HKU with a Master of Buddhist Studies and a PhD.
